Ignition Timing

IGNITION TIMING

Application (1) Specification
Base Timing (2) 10° BTDC @ 700 RPM
Advance Timing (3) 9-11° BTDC @ 700 RPM
(1) Check with transmission in Neutral and parking brake applied.
(2) Check with jumper wire installed between engine check connector terminals "T" or TE1 and E1.
(3) With jumper wire removed from engine check connector.
