Code 13 - Rpm Signal
Code 13 indicates a momentary interruption in the "G" or "NE" signal from the Integrated Ignition Assembly (IIA) to the ECM has occurred, but has returned to normal. Although this problem may not necessarily appear at time of inspection, it cannot be ignored because trouble code has been output, indicating a malfunction in the "G" or "NE" signal has occurred.
Check the IIA connector and "NE" terminal of ECM connector for following:
- Loose Connectors
- Dirty Connector Terminals
- Loose Connector Terminals
