Check Valve

  1. Remove check valve from vacuum hose to Vacuum Control Valve (VCV). The VCV is located on bracket, below air intake chamber, near engine oil dipstick. See Figure.
  2. Apply air pressure to Orange side of check valve. Air should pass through check valve. Apply air pressure to Black side of check valve. Air should not pass through check valve. Replace check valve if defective.
