A/C Idle-Up Valve

Application Location Corolla Center Of Firewall - Using ohmmeter, check resistance between A/C idle-up valve electrical terminals. Replace A/C idle-up valve if resistance is not 30-34 ohms.
- Ensure no continuity exists between each electrical terminal and body of A/C idle-up valve. To check A/C idle-up valve operation, apply air pressure to designated area and checking air passage, and then applying battery voltage and ground and retesting. See Fig 1. Replace A/C idle-up valve if defective.
