Retrieving Trouble Codes: Notes
NOTE:
Trouble codes may be retrieved using Toyota scan tester in Normal Mode or Test Mode.
NOTE:
Normal Mode is used to retrieve trouble code from Electronic Control Module (ECM) to determine problem area.
NOTE:
The Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) on the instrument panel may also be referred to as CHECK ENGINE light.
