Trouble Code Detection Driving Pattern Tests

NOTE: Trouble code driving pattern test may be referred to as driving pattern test.

With certain trouble codes, once trouble code has been cleared from ECM memory, a trouble code detection driving pattern test can be performed to verify repairs and that trouble has not reset. Trouble code driving pattern test will duplicate conditions required to set specified trouble codes.
Trouble code detection driving pattern test lists procedure to be performed to ensure trouble code has not reset. See Fig 1.
