Knock Sensor
- Knock Sensors (KS) are located on the cylinder block. See Fig 1. Remove KS from cylinder block before testing. See REMOVE/INSTALL/OVERHAUL article.
- Using ohmmeter, check that no continuity exists between electrical terminal of knock sensor and body of KS. Replace KS if continuity exists.
