Application Valve Location Avalon On Air Intake Chamber, Near Throttle Body & Contains 2-Pin Black Connector - Using ohmmeter, check resistance between A/C idle-up valve electrical terminals. Application Ohms @ 68°F (20°C) Avalon 30-33 - Ensure no continuity exists between each electrical terminal and body of A/C idle-up valve. To check A/C idle-up valve operation, apply air pressure to designated area and checking air passage, and then applying battery voltage and ground and retesting. See Fig 1. Replace A/C idle-up valve if defective.
