Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor

For engine coolant temperature sensor location, see the SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS article. Measure resistance between engine coolant temperature sensor electrical terminals. Ensure resistance is within specification in relation to specified temp. See Fig 1.
