Camshaft Position Sensor

Disconnect electrical connector from camshaft position sensor. Camshaft position sensor is located at driver's side front corner of cylinder head, just in front of the intake manifold. See Fig 1. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between electrical terminals on camshaft position sensor.
Replace camshaft position sensor if resistance is not within specification. See CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR RESISTANCE table. Reinstall electrical connector on camshaft position sensor.
