CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM DTCS (2.7L)

OEM Code Test Procedures Description
11 123(2), (3) Short In Actuator Motor Circuit
12 123(2), 7(3) Open In Actuator Magnetic Clutch Ckt For 0.8 Second
12 123(2),7(3) Short In Actuator Magnetic Clutch Ckt
13 123(2), (3) Actuator Position Sensor Detects Abnormal Voltage
14 123(2), (3) Open In Actuator Motor Circuit
14 123(2), (3) Position Sensor Signal Value Does Not Change When Motor Operates
21 4(2), (3) Speed Sensor Signal Not Sent When Cruise Control Is Set
23 (4) 4(2), (3) Vehicle Speed Sensor Pulse Abnormal
32 56(2), (3) Short In Cruise ON-OFF (Main) Switch Ckt
41 (2), (3) Faulty Cruise Control ECU
42 1213 Source Voltage Drop
Normal None Indicator Light Flashes On & Off
(1) Perform test numbers in order given.
(2) Check wiring harness and connectors.
(3) Check CC ECU. See PIN VOLTAGE TESTS Replace CC ECU as necessary.
(4) If speed set can be maintained when cruise ON-OFF (main) switch is again set to SET/COAST position, there is no malfunction.

12 12(2),7(3) Open In Actuator Magnetic Clutch Ckt For 0.8 Second
12 12(2),7(3) Short In Actuator Magnetic Clutch Ckt
14 12(2), (3) Open In Actuator Motor Circuit
14 12(2), (3) Position Sensor Signal Value Does Not Change When Motor Operates
15 12(2), (3) Open In Actuator Motor Circuit
21 4(2), (3) Speed Sensor Signal Not Sent When Cruise Control Is Set
23 (4) 4(2), (3) Vehicle Speed Sensor Pulse Abnormal
32 56(2), (3) Short In Cruise ON-OFF (Main) Switch Ckt
41 (2), (3) Faulty Cruise Control ECU
42 1213 Source Voltage Drop
51 8(2), (3) Short In Idle Signal Circuit
Normal None Indicator Light Flashes On & Off
(1) Perform test numbers in order given.
(2) Check wiring harness and connectors.
(3) Check CC ECU. See PIN VOLTAGE TESTS Replace CC ECU as necessary.
(4) If speed set can be maintained when cruise ON-OFF (main) switch is again set to SET/COAST position, there is no malfunction.
