Power Main Relay

NOTE: Power main relay may also be referred to as the power relay.
  1. Remove power main relay from driver's side fuse/relay box located near driver's side kick panel. See Figure. Note terminal identification on power main relay. See Fig 1.
  2. Using DVOM, check that continuity exists between terminals No. 1 and 2 on power main relay. Apply battery voltage and ground to terminals No. 1 and 2 on power main relay. Also, check that continuity exists between terminals No. 3 and 5 on power main relay. Replace power main relay if defective.
