Test No. 10: Power Main Relay Circuit: Testing

  1. Check operation of power main relay. See POWER MAIN RELAY  under COMPONENT TESTS. If power main relay operates properly, go to next step. If power main relay is defective, replace power main relay.
  2. Check for faulty connectors and wiring between battery, power main relay and body Electronic Control Unit (ECU). See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  3. Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to the next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
