Test No. 7: Taillight Relay Circuit: Testing

  1. Check operation of taillight relay. See TAILLIGHT RELAY  under COMPONENT TESTS. If taillight relay operates properly, go to next step. If taillight relay is defective, replace taillight relay.
  2. Check for faulty connectors and wiring between battery, taillight relay and body ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  3. Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
