Test 1: Ecu Power Source Circuit

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Ensure DOME (10-amp) fuse is okay. Replace fuse if necessary. If DOME fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse fails again, check for short in Blue/Yellow wire between DOME fuse and wireless door lock control ECU terminal No. 8. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  2. With ignition switch in OFF position, remove wireless door lock ECU from under left side of instrument panel. See Figure. Measure voltage (backprobe) between ECU connector terminal No. 8 (Blue/Yellow wire) and ground. See Figure. If battery voltage does not exist, check for an open in Blue/Yellow wire. If battery voltage exists, proceed to next test given under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
