Test No. 4: Power Window Control Switch Circuit: Testing

  1. Check operation of power window control switch. See POWER WINDOWS - CARS article. If power window control switch operates properly, go to next step. If power window control switch is defective, replace power window control switch.
  2. Check for faulty connectors and wiring between power window control switch and body ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  3. Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
