Test No. 5: Door Lock Motor Circuit

  1. Check door lock motor for appropriate door. See POWER DOOR LOCKS - CARS article. Replace faulty components as necessary. If door lock motor is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check for faulty connectors and wiring between door lock motor and body Electronic Control Unit (ECU). See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  3. Repair connectors or wiring as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
