Rear Power Window Motor Circuit Breaker Test: Corolla
- Slightly lower rear power window. Disconnect rear power window switch 5-pin harness connector. Connect jumper wire from positive terminal of 12-volt battery to terminal No. 3 (Yellow wire) at rear power window switch harness connector (harness side). See Figure. Connect another jumper wire from negative terminal of battery to terminal No. 3 (Yellow wire) at rear power window switch harness connector (harness side). Window should raise to fully closed position. If window operates correctly, go to next step. If window does not operate correctly, go to POWER WINDOW MOTOR TEST .
- Continue to apply voltage until there is an audible click from power window motor circuit breaker (within 4-90 seconds). Reverse polarity and ensure window begins to descend within about 60 seconds. If operation is not as specified, replace rear power window motor. If operation is as specified, rear power window motor circuit breaker is okay.
