Fuel Systems: Notes
WARNING:
ALWAYS release fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component. DO NOT allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.
NOTE:
On all models except Camry CNG models, basic diagnosis of fuel system should begin by checking fuel pump operation and fuel pressure.
NOTE:
On Camry CNG models, fuel pump is not used and information is not available from manufacturer for checking fuel pressure. For testing of fuel system components, see FUEL SYSTEMS in SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING - 4-CYLINDER article.
