Throttle Position Sensor: RAV4
- Note location of E2 terminal (Brown wire), VC terminal (Yellow wire) and VTA terminal (Blue/Red wire) on Throttle Position (TP) sensor. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect electrical connector from TP sensor on throttle body. Disconnect vacuum hose and apply vacuum to throttle opener.
- Using ohmmeter, check resistance between specified terminals in relation to throttle position. See THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR RESISTANCE table. Replace components as necessary if resistance is not within specification.
