Power Window Control Switch

  1. Power window control switches are located on center console. See Figure. Disconnect electrical connector from power window control switch. Note power window control switch electrical terminal identification. See Fig 1.
  2. Using ohmmeter, check that continuity is as specified between indicated power window control switch electrical terminals in relation to window switch application and switch position. See POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH CONTINUITY  table. Replace power window control switch if continuity is not as specified.

    UP 3 & 6 Continuity
    OFF No Continuity No Continuity
    DOWN 3 & 4 Continuity
    AUTO 3 & 4; 3 & 5 Continuity
    Passenger's Side Window Switch
    UP 1 & 2; 3 & 4 Continuity
    OFF 1 & 2; 3 & 5 Continuity
    DOWN 1 & 4; 3 & 5 Continuity
