Luggage Compartment Door Courtesy Switch

Luggage compartment door courtesy switch is located on the trunk lid, near the latch assembly. See Figure. Disconnect electrical connector for luggage compartment door courtesy switch.
Using ohmmeter, check that continuity exists between electrical terminals and body of luggage compartment door courtesy switch with switch pin released to the ON position, and that no continuity exists with switch pin depressed to the OFF position. See Fig 1. Replace luggage compartment door courtesy switch if defective.
