Engine Lubrication System: Installation

  1. INSTALL OIL PUMP 
    1. Place the drive and driven rotors into timing chain cover with the marks facing the oil pump cover side.

    2. Install the oil pump cover to the timing chain cover with the 2 bolts and 3 screws.

    Torque: Bolt 8.8 N.m (90 kgf.cm, 78 in..lbf) Screw 10.3 N.m (105 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL TIMING CHAIN COVER (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  3. FILL WITH ENGINE OIL 
  4. CHECK FOR LEAKS
