Column Shift Assembly: Installation

  1. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the shift lever assembly and transmission control cable (See INSTALLATION ).
    2. Connect the shift lever connector.
    3. Install the shift lever assembly with the 3 bolts.

    Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in..lbf) 

  2. INSTALL COMBINATION SWITCH (See  REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  ) 
  3. INSTALL COLUMN LOWER AND UPPER PANELS (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT LOWER FINISH PANEL (See  REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (PRIUS)  ) 
  5. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  6. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL PAD (See  INSTALLATION  )
