Door Courtesy Switch

NOTE: Testing information for door courtesy switch on back (rear liftgate) door is not available from manufacturer.

Remove door courtesy switch from pillar post at rear of side door. See Figure. Using ohmmeter, check that continuity exists between electrical terminal and body of door courtesy switch with switch pin released to ON position and no continuity exists with switch pin depressed to OFF position. See Fig 1. Replace door courtesy switch if defective.
