Buzzer For Keyless Entry System

NOTE: Buzzer for keyless entry system may also be referred to as wireless door lock buzzer or keyless buzzer.
  1. Disconnect electrical connector for buzzer for keyless entry system. Buzzer for keyless entry system is located near driver's side front corner of engine compartment, just behind the headlight assembly and contains a Black 2-pin electrical connector with White/Black and Green/Orange wires.
  2. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between electrical terminals on buzzer for keyless entry system with positive lead of ohmmeter connected to terminal No. 1 and negative lead to terminal No. 2. See Fig 1. Resistance should be approximately 1000 ohms. Replace buzzer for keyless entry system if resistance is not within specification.
