Interior Light No. 1

  1. Interior light No. 1 is located on the headliner. See Figure. Disconnect electrical connector at interior light No. 1.
  2. On models with vanity lights, using ohmmeter, check that continuity exists between terminals No. 1 and 3 with switch on interior light No. 1 in ON position. See Fig 1. Check that continuity exists between terminals No. 2 and 3 with switch on interior light No. 1 in DOOR position. See Fig 1. Replace switch for interior light No. 1 if continuity is not as specified.
  3. On models without vanity lights, using ohmmeter, check that continuity exists between terminals No. 2 and body ground with switch on interior light No. 1 in ON position. See Fig 1. Check that continuity exists between terminals No. 1 and 2 with switch on interior light No. 1 in DOOR position. See Fig 1. Replace switch for interior light No. 1 if continuity is not as specified.
