For Vehicles Equipped With Vehicle Skid Control (VSC) System

NOTE:

Check that VSC warning light is blinking.
Ensure that vehicle does not move using wires.
After the measurement, disconnect the short circuit and check that the VSC warning light is turned off when restarting the engine.

Precaution when using drum tester: When using drum tester, make sure that the ignitions system is OFF, start the engine with the diagnosis connection short-circuited between Ts and E1 of DLC1, see Fig 1 or T1 and (CG) of DLC3, see Fig 2, and take a measurement.

Precaution during VSC operation:
1. Since VSC may be affected by removal/installation of the VSC-related parts, do not remove/install those parts unless absolutely necessary.
2. When operating on VSC, follow the instructions in BRAKES articles, ensuring preparations and check after operations were followed.
