3. Inspect Camshaft Position Sensor

Remove the sensor. See CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR .
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
Reconnect the sensor connector.
