4. Inspect Crankshaft Position Sensor

  1. Remove the front engine under cover.
  2. Disconnect the A/C compressor. See REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the connector from the oil level gauge clamp.
  4. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

    If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.

  5. Reinstall the connector with the oil level gauge clamp.
  6. Reconnect the A/C compressor. See INSTALLATION .
  7. Reinstall the front engine under cover.
