Column Shift Assembly: Installation

  1. Install shift lever assembly:
    1. Connect the shift lever assembly and transmission control cable. See steps 7 & 8 of REMOVAL .
    2. Connect the shift lever connector.
    3. Install the shift lever assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)  .

  2. Install combination switch. See STEP 13 - INSTALL COMBINATION SWITCH WITH SPIRAL CABLE .
  3. Install column lower and upper panels. See STEP 15 - INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT FINISH PANELS .
  4. Install INSTRUMENT LOWER FINISH PANEL .
  5. Install steering wheel, see STEP 17 - INSTALL STEERING WHEEL .
  6. Install steering wheel pad, see STEP 18 - INSTALL STEERING WHEEL PAD .
