Diagnostic Tests: Notes

NOTE: Before performing any diagnostic test, see SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  for diagnostic system functions and system diagnostic procedures. Also check for any related Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs).
NOTE: When performing diagnostic tests, it may be necessary to identify Engine Control Module (ECM) electrical connector terminals which are referenced to in testing procedure. See Fig 1.
NOTE: When performing diagnostic tests, if battery is disconnected for any reason, it may be possible that power sliding doors may not operate properly after battery is disconnected. It may be necessary to perform power sliding door reinitialization procedure to obtain proper sliding door operation. See POWER SLIDING DOOR REINITIALIZATION PROCEDURE  under PROGRAMMING.
