HV Battery: Installation

INSTALL HV BATTERY
1. Set the HV battery to the body.
2. Connect the battery hose to the body.
  CAUTION: Since alkaline electrolyte may be got on the hose end, carry out the operation with considerable care.
INSTALL BATTERY BRACKET
1. Install the RH and LH battery bracket with the 13 bolts and nut.
  Torque: 18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

2. Install and tighten the 5 bolts for HV battery.
  Torque: 18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

INSTALL HIGH TENSION CABLE
1. Install the earth terminal.
2. Install the high tension cable with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 5.0 N.m (50 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)

3. Install the battery carrier catch bracket with the 3 nuts.
  Torque: 8.0 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)

  NOTE: When installing a cover, never fail to pass the interlock button.
INSTALL DUCT (See COMPONENTS )
CONNECT CONNECTOR
1. Connect the 2 connectors to the battery ECU.
2. Connect the connector to the SMR.
3. Connect the connector to the service plug assembly.
