Inspect Buckle Switch Continuity

W/O Power Seat (Passenger Side):

  1. Check that continuity exists between terminals 1 and 2 on the switch side connector with the switch ON (belt fastened).

  2. Check that no continuity exists between terminal 1 an 2 on the switch side connector with the switch OFF (belt unfastened).

    If operation is not as specified, replace the seat belt inner.



W/O Power Seat (Driver Side): 

  1. Check that continuity exists between terminals 5 and 6 on the switch side connector with the switch ON (belt fastened).

  2. Check that no continuity exists between terminal 5 an 6 on the switch side connector with the switch OFF (belt unfastened).

    If operation is not as specified, replace the seat belt inner.



w/ Power Seat: 

  1. Check that continuity exists between terminals 1 and 2 on the switch side connector with the switch ON (belt fastened).
  2. Check that no continuity exists between terminal 1 an 2 on the switch side connector with the switch OFF (belt unfastened).

    If operation is not as specified, replace the seat belt inner.
