Possible Causes

This DTC uses two-trip detection logic. DTC is set when ECM detects a deviation in crankshaft position sensor and VVT sensor signals. Possible causes are:

• Mechanical system malfunction such as the timing chain stretched or jumped teeth.
• Defective ECM.
