Throttle Body: Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER 
  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 
  3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR 
  4. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY 
    1. Disconnect the throttle control connector.
    2. Disconnect the PCV hose and the water bypass hose from the throttle body.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts, and disconnect the throttle body from the intake manifold.

    4. Disconnect the water bypass hose from the manifold thermostat on the throttle body, and remove the throttle body.
    5. Remove the gasket.
