Brake Actuator ASSY: Replacement

DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
NOTE: Wash brake fluid off immediately if it comes into contact with any painted surface.
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL RH
REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH
REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET
1. Turn the latch of the actuator connector to disconnect the connector.
2. Using SST, disconnect the 6 brake tubes from the actuator.

3. Attach tags or make a memo to identify the places to reconnect.

4. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and the actuator with bracket.

REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY
1. Remove the 3 nuts and brake actuator from the bracket.
INSTALL BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY
1. Install the brake actuator with the 3 nuts to the bracket.
  Torque: 4.7 N.m (48 kgf.cm, 42 in.lbf)
INSTALL BRAKE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET
1. Install the actuator with bracket with the 2 bolts and nut.
  Torque: 19 N.m (194 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf)

2. Using SST, connect each brake tube to correct positions of the actuator with bracket.
  SST 09023-00101
  
  Torque: 15 N.m (155 kgf.cm, 11 ft.lbf)
3. Connect the actuator connector.

INSTALL FRONT WHEEL RH
Torque: 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft.lbf)
FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID
BLEED MASTER CYLINDER (SEE BRAKE FLUID )
SST 09023-00100
BLEED BRAKE LINE (SEE BRAKE FLUID )
CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR
CHECK FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE
CHECK ACTUATOR WITH HAND-HELD TESTER (SEE ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
