Inspection Procedure

  1. Check POWER, ECU-B And ECU-IG Fuse. 

    CHECK:  continuity of POWER, ECU-B and ECU-IG fuse.

    OK:  continuity

    1. NG: Replace the failure fuse. 
    2. OK: Go to step   2 . 
  2. Check Voltage Between Terminals POWER, SIG, BDR, BECU And GND Of Back Door ECU Connector. 

    PREPARATION:  turn ignition switch ON.

    CHECK:  measure voltage between terminals SIG, and GND.

    OK:  voltage: 10-14 V.

    PREPARATION:

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect the back door ECU connector.

    CHECK:  measure voltage between terminals BDR, BECU and GND.

    OK:  voltage: 10-14V.

    1. OK  : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
    2. NG  : Go to step  3.
  3. Check Wiring Harness And Connector Between ECU And Body Ground. 
    1. NG  : Repair or replace wiring harness or connector.
    2. OK  : Check and repair wiring harness and connector between ECU and battery.
