Throttle Body: Removal

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 
  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET AND AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH MAF METER 
    1. Disconnect the MAF meter connector.
    2. Disconnect the VSV hose for CCV.
    3. Remove the 3 bolts and air cleaner inlet, air cleaner assembly and MAF meter together in one piece.
  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE AND PCV HOSE 
    1. Disconnect the VSV connector for EVAP.
    2. Disconnect the VSV hose for EVAP.
    3. Disconnect the PCV hose.
    4. Remove the air cleaner hose.
  4. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY 
    1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor & control motor connector.

    3. Disconnect the 5 hoses.
    4. Remove the 4 bolts, bracket and throttle body from the intake manifold.
    5. Remove the gasket.
