Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSY 
    1. Remove the multiplex network master switch with connector still connected.
    2. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Switch Condition Tester Connection Specified Condition
      I6-15 - Body ground Window lock switch is OFF --> ON 0 V --> 2 V or less

    1. NG: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSY 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSY - MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect the I6 and H6 connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Switch Condition Tester Connection Specified Condition
      I6-15 - H6-11 Always Below 1 Ω
      I6-15 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   )
