Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the I6 connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I6-1 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I6-7 (BW) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      I6-6 (B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      I6-11 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 V --> 10 to 14 V

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   )
