Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY (REAR RH)
- Remove the power window regulator motor assy.
- Apply battery voltage to the motor connector according to the table below.NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.
- Check that the motor rotates smoothly.
OK:
SPECIFIED CONDITIONMeasurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) --> Terminal 1 (U) Motor gear rotates clockwise Battery negative (-) --> Terminal 2 (D) Motor gear rotates clockwise Battery positive (+) --> Terminal 2 (D) Motor gear rotates counterclockwise Battery negative (-) --> Terminal 1 (U) Motor gear rotates counterclockwise
- NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY (REAR RH)
- OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY (REAR RH) - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY (REAR RH)
- Disconnect the J2 and J4 connectors.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard:
SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition J4-1 - J2-3 Always Below 1 Ω J4-2 - J2-1 Always Below 1 Ω J4-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher J4-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
