Throttle Body: Installation

INSTALL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY
1. Install a new gasket to the intake manifold.
2. Install the throttle body and accelerator control cable bracket with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts [B].
  Torque: 22 N*m (224 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the air cleaner cap together with the air cleaner hose.
2. Lock the 2 clamp hooks [B].
3. Tighten the air cleaner hose clamp bolt [C].
  Torque: 2.0 N*m (20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf)
4. Connect the 3 vacuum hoses [D].
5. Connect the fuel vapor feed hose No. 3 [E] to the VSV.
6. Connect the fuel vapor feed hose No. 1 [F] to the VSV.
7. Install the 2 wire harness clamps [G].
8. Connect the 2 VSV connectors [H].
9. Connect the mass air flow meter connector [I].

INSTALL ACCELERATOR CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
1. Install the accelerator control cable [A] into the throttle lever.
2. Tighten the nut [B].
3. Connect the accelerator control cable to the accelerator control cable support No. 2 [C].

INSTALL CYLINDER HEAD COVER NO. 2
1. Install the cylinder head cover No. 2 with the 3 bolts and nut.
  Torque: 7.0 N*m (71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf)
CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
ADD ENGINE COOLANT
CHECK ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
