Charging System: Generator: Installation

  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 43 N*m (438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)

    2. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)

    3. Connect the wire harness.
      1. Connect the wire harness to terminal B and install the nut.

        Torque: 10 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

      2. Connect the connector to the generator assembly.

      3. Install the wire harness stay with the bolt.

        Torque: 5.8 N*m (59 kgf*cm, 51 in.*lbf)

  2. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL V-BANK COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL BATTERY 

    Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf)
