Fuel Pump: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the claw and remove the sender gauge by sliding it in the direction shown in Fig 2.

  2. REMOVE NO.1 FUEL SUB-TANK 
    1. Disengage the 5 claws and remove the fuel pump tank.

    2. Separate the connector and disengage the clamp.

  3. REMOVE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the clamp, then disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 5 claws and separate the fuel pump from the fuel pump case.

    3. Disconnect the connector from the fuel pump.

  4. REMOVE FUEL PUMP FILTER 
    1. Remove the fuel filter from the fuel pump.

  5. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the fuel pressure regulator and the 2 O-rings.
