Throttle Body: Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See REMOVAL )
  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  (See REPLACEMENT )
  5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses.
    2. Disconnect the throttle position sensor and control motor connector.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts, throttle body and gasket.
    4. Remove the 2 water by-pass hoses from the throttle body.
