Circuit Opening Relay: Inspection

  1. INSPECT E.F.I. CIRCUIT OPENING RELAY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Inspect the resistance.
      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        Resistance 

        TESTER CONNECTIONS AND SPECIFIED CONDITIONS

        Tester Connection Specified Condition
        3 - 5 10 kΩ or higher
        3 - 5 Below 1 Ω (Apply battery voltage to terminal 1 and 2)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the E.F.I, circuit opening relay assembly.
