Fuel Filter: Replacement
- REMOVE FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY
- Remove the fuel suction with pump and gauge tube (See REMOVAL ).
- REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY (See INSPECTION )
- REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FUEL PUMP (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY
- Remove the fuel main valve from the fuel filter.
- Remove the 2 O-rings from the fuel main valve.
- REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT
- Detach the 2 claws from the claw holes.
- INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT
- Attach the 2 claws to the claw holes.
- INSTALL FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY
- Apply a light coat of gasoline to 2 new O-rings, and install them onto the fuel main valve.
- Install the fuel main valve to the fuel filter.
NOTE: Make sure the O-rings are not cut or pinched during the installation. - INSTALL FUEL PUMP (See REASSEMBLY )
- INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK (See REASSEMBLY )
- INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY (See INSPECTION )
- INSTALL FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY
- Install the fuel suction with pump and gauge tube (See INSTALLATION ).
