Front Speed Sensor: Removal

HINT:

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL 
  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the front speed sensor connector.
    2. Remove the front speed sensor wire harness clamp from the body.

    3. Remove the bolt and No. 2 sensor clamp from the body.

    4. Remove the bolt and separate the brake flexible hose.

    5. Remove the No. 1 sensor clamp from the shock absorber.

    6. Remove the clamp.

    7. Remove the bolt and front speed sensor.
      NOTE:
      • Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the sensor tip.
      • Clean the installation hole and the contact surface for the speed sensor every time it is removed.
