System Outline

  1. Manual Up and Down Function

This function causes the window to open or close while the power window switch is being pulled up or pushed down (Driver SW should be pulled up and down halfway for manual operation.). The window stops as soon as the switch is released.

  2. Driver Door One-Touch Auto Up and Down Function

"The driver door one-touch auto up and down function" enables the window on the front driver door to be fully opened or closed with a single touch of the power window switch, by pushing it fully down, or pulling it fully up.

  3. Jam Protection Function (Driver's Door)

The jam protection function automatically stops the power window and moves it downward if a foreign object gets jammed in the window during a one-touch auto-up operation.

  4. Remote Control Function

The up and down operation of the front passenger door windows and the rear door windows can be controlled by operating the power window master switch.

  5. Key-Off Operation Function

For about 43 seconds after pushing OFF the power SW or opening the driver side door, this function enables the power window master switch to operate all the door windows and enables the switches on each of the passenger doors to operate their respective windows manually. Please note that the function becomes unavailable if the driver side door is opened and then shut.

(The one-touch auto up and down operation of the driver side door is included as well)

    * When the battery terminal or fuse is disconnected, the glass position of all door windows will need to be reset to the initial positions, one by one, using the power window control switch by following the procedure below:

    1. Reconnect the battery terminal or fuse.
    2. Push the power SW to IG ON
    3. Lower the window of each door halfway or more with the power window switch.
    4. Then close the window fully with the power window switch.
    5. Do not release the switch for at least one second after the window is fully closed.
